Lars Wallin has designed clothes for Carola at several occasions. He created, for example the outfits for the Swedish Song Contest and Eurovision Song Contest 2006. Now he has created dresses for "A Classic Christmas Night", the Christmas concerts with Liza Minnelli that starts tomorrow night. The reporter Sofia Persson from Swedish newspaper Expressen tried the dress on (see photo above).

Norwegian TV2 will re-run "Carolas førjulskonsert" - the live concert from Kulturkirken Jakob in Oslo - on Saturday December 22 at 8.00 pm.

Carola's latest album "I denna natt blir världen ny" is no 1 everywhere at the moment: Swedish album chart, CDON's sales chart and after last night's documentary on TV4, the album jumped to no 1 on the iTunes download chart, beating new albums from Kylie Minogue and Alicia Keys... This morning, Carola will perform on the Danish morning TV-show "Go' Morgen Danmark". The show airs on Danish TV2, and Carola's performance starts at 7.44am.

Carola mentioned in an interview recently that she would consider competing in another country's (she specifically mentions Norway) selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. This statement has made a big impact in Sweden, Norway and on Eurovision Song Contest websites in Europe. The website ESC Today contacted the Norwegian broadcaster NRK and they said

"We are flattered that Carola would consider competing for Norway, and we would definitely consider it should we get a direct request"

Don't miss Carola on "Babben & Co" on SVT1 tonight 8.30pm. On the show, Carola will be interviewed by Babben Larsson, perform "I denna natt blir världen ny" and put in the "hot seat" where she is supposed to keep a straight face while five comedians are doing their best to make her laugh.

Other guests on the show are singer Eva Dahlgren and actor Kjell Bergqvist. The show was recorded in Stockholm on November 15.

The show will re-run on SVT1 December 2 at 2.55pm and December 3 at 11.20pm plus on SVT24 on December 5 at 8.00pm

The same day as her concert in Copenhagen; December 4, Carola will perform two songs on a morning show on Danish TV.

Two extra concerts have been added to the Christmas tour. Carola will give two performances in Gothenburg on December 18, and in Stockholm on December 19. The first concert in Gothenburg is sold out, and the first concert in Stockholm only has a few tickets available.

Carola gave an interview to Ulf Thonman on the show "Morgon med P4" on Swedish radio this morning about tonight's concert in Örnsköldsvik.

After four sold-out shows in Norway and two sold-out shows in Finland, Carola will begin the Swedish leg of her Christmas tour in Örnsköldsvik tonight.

Swedish TV4 will air "Carolas resa mot jul", a documentary of the recording of the Christmas album in Bethlehem. At their website they write about the show.

"Two songs that Carola put extra focus on in the documentary are 'Mariavisa' and 'I denna natt blir världen ny'. The first of the songs Carola heard for the first time on location in Israel, and is about Mary's and Joseph's joy over the new born child. The second song is inspired by the current situation in Bethlehem. Other songs performed in 'Carolas resa mot jul' are 'Nu tändas tusen juleljus', 'När det lider mot jul' and 'Go, tell it on the mountain' among others.

In the show, Carola is making her debut as a documentary film photographer. With a small camera she gives the viewers an unique inside look of her visits in Israel. The show portrays one of Sweden's greatest artists with open hearted interviews. The producer Erik Hillestad and Carola's friend Rickard Engfors join Carola on her journey and take part in the making of her Christmas album."

Carola's Christmas tour has now reached Jakobstad in Finland where she will perform two sold-out concerts tonight.

Carola talks to Finnish newspaper Jakobstads Tidning about her two Christmas concerts in the town's church. When asked about the Swedish Song Contest 2008, she answers:

"I haven't closed any doors, but right now I am not persuing it. I don't need the Swedish Song Contest. Nothing has been decided. But if I'll be in the competition, and will sing a duet with Andreas Johnson."
