Every year a few new versions of Carola's classic Christmas song "Himlen i min famn" are released. This year is no exception.

Kvalbein Aage & Iver Kleive has released the album "Julemeditasjoner" where they perform an instrumental version of "Himlen i min famn".

Rebecca is a young girl who released her first album called "När julen närmar sig" where she sings "Himlen i min famn".

The CD/DVD "Svenska karaoke favoriter 4" also includes "Himlen i min famn", here in a karaoke version. This product is released on November 27.

Carola is a guest on the Norwegian morning show "God Morgen Norge" tomorrow morning. She will sing Christmas songs with her musicians from the concerts in Oslo that begins tonight.

The show airs on TV2 at 8.15 am and can be seen online here.

"I denna natt blir världen ny" enters the Norwegian album chart at no 21 this week. The first album in the series "Jul i Betlehem" entered the chart in the same week eight years ago at no 36. The album then climbed and peaked at no 6.

"I denna natt blir världen ny" has already sold both Gold and Platinum in Sweden, and is a strong contender to the no 1 spot on the Swedish album chart this week.

1.3 million Swedes watched the show "Idol" on TV4 on November 16, where Carola performed "Go Tell It On the Mountain", coached the participants and gave her opinions as a guest judge on the show.

Carola's Christmas tour begins tonight with a sold-out concert at Kulturkirken in Oslo, Norway. A second concert in Stavenger on December 21 has been added to the tour list.

"I denna natt blir världen ny" has already sold more than 20.000 copies in Norway, which means it has reached Gold status.

Carola is currently in Oslo, rehearsing for the Christmas concerts in Kulturkirken Jakob beginning on Wednesday November 21. All four concerts are sold out!

"I denna natt blir världen ny" continues to climb on the iTunes download chart. The album entered the chart at no 14, quickly climbed to no 13, then no 11, and is currently on no 9.

This is the feedback Carola gave each of the five remaining participants in Swedish "Idol" when she was a guest judge on last night's episode.

Marie Picasso: "That was superb, Marie, what joy you express. You control the room and the camera loves you. I am thrilled to see you spark like this."

Andreas Sjöberg: "I wasn't touched by that performance. I don't know what happened. I wish you expressed more security, like we spoke about and didn't throw lassos after calves. Bring out the joy because I believe in what you're singing."

Mattias Andreasson (Mattias was voted off the show last night): "You are so good, you're modern and wonderful to listen to. But I miss your smile. It is great to watch you."

Daniel Karlsson: "You're a fenomenal live artist. You control the whole room. You were vunerable, I could see it in your eyes, it was right there. Wonderful, you touched my heart. I believe in you."

Amanda Jenssen: "You are lethally cool. You're a tiger. Already an amazing performer".

Yesterday, November 15, Carola recorded the TV-show "Babben & Co", where she sang "I denna natt blir världen ny" and was put in the "hot seat" where she was suppossed to keep a straight face while five comedians are doing their best to make her laugh.

Other guests were singer Eva Dahlgren and actor Kjell Bergqvist. The show airs on SVT1 on December 1 at 8.30pm.

Christoffer Hiding was voted of Swedish "Idol" last week and was crushed he didn't get to meet and sing with Carola. Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet arranged a meeting betwwen them. "What an amazing guy, we will stay in touch with each other", Carola said.

During their meeting, they decided that they would sing "Go Tell it On the Mountain" as a duet at Carola's upcoming Christmas concerts.
