Swedish SVT celebrates its 50th anniversary with a star-studded concert at Hovet in Stockholm on October 21. The concert will be broadcasted live on SVT1 at 8.00pm. The show will include performances by Carola, Björn Skifs, Lena Philipsson, Tommy Körberg, Charlotte Perrelli, and Magnus Carlsson.

Norwegian TV2 will air a documentary series named "Hele Historien" which follows ten celebrities. One of the episodes is about Carola and will air on November 23.

Carola's latest single "Stanna eller gå" climbs 9 spots, from no 35 to no 26 on this week's Sverige Topp 40 Chart.

Don't miss the "Rix FM Festival 2006" on Swedish TV6 tomorrow, Saturday September 2 at 5.00 pm. The concert was filmed in Kungsträdgården in Stockholm on August 26, where Carola performed six songs ("Genom allt", "Jag ger allt", "Så länge jag lever", "Fast det är mörkt nu", "Stanna eller gå", "Evighet"). Other artists include Shayne Ward, Helena Paparizou, Eric Gadd, Patrik Isaksson, and Velvet.

The concert will also be aired on TV3 on September 10.

Carola has launched a set of Christmas plates decorated with angels. The 12 unique paintings of angels are made by AnnMargreth Jonth and will be available through mail-in order at Fyrklövern.

The set includes plates, bowls, glasses, candle holders and more.

Carola is Sweden's most popular female singer according to the TV-show "Folktoppen", followed by Helen Sjöholm at no 2, and Lena Philipsson at no 3. The chart is based on votes from the audience. Congratulations Carola!

Carola was recently added to the list of artists who will perform at the Rix FM Festival Tour Finale in Kungsträdgården in Stockholm on August 26. Other artists include Shayne Ward, Helena Paparizou, Eric Gadd, Patrik Isaksson, and Velvet.

The new, untitled "Best of" album with Carola from Sony/BMG has bee pushed back from an August 14th release date, to September 1.

The 2006 Summer tour is over. Carola performed the last concert at Skansen in Stockholm. We received many emails from people who attended the concert, saying it was a fantastic concert. Peter Karlsson sent us some photos. Tomas Selin writes that the concert was filmed from various angles and microphones were set up to record both the music and the audience. Is there a DVD release planned..?

BBC Sports is using the instrumental version of "Invincible" as their intro music to the broadcasts from the European Athletic Championship in Gothenburg. A 38 seconds long clip is played in the beginning of each broadcast.

Last night, Carola performed "Invincible" at the Opening Ceremony of the European Athletic Championship in Gothenburg. Other peformers included Ronan Keating, Helena Paparizou, Peter Jöback, and Sissel Kyrkjebø. Carola performed playback, maybe due to problems with her voice.

Tonight, Carola performs her last concert of the Summer tour 2006, at Skansen in Stockholm.
