Exclusive Report: Carola's visit to Montenegro |

A Carola International Exclusive report:
As reported earlier, Carola performed at the Music Festival Budva in Montenegro on June 24, her performance was broadcasted live on Serbia's most popular TV-channel Pink.
During her visit, Carola received a lot of attention from the Serbian media. She was interviewed by several major newspapers, TV-channels and radio stations.
"Invincible" is getting a lot of airplay on Serbian national, regional and local radio stations at the moment. Most importantly on Radio S, which is the No 1 Serbian music radio station.
Radio S played their interview with Carola and her Eurovision Song Contest song "Invincible" every 3 hours. They presented Carola as the most popular singer in Sweden the last 20 years.
Carola also appeared on the music TV-channel BalkaMedia TV.
In interviews, Carola announced that she is working on an album adapted for the Serbian market. She confirmed that she will collaborate with Serbian superstar Zeljko Joksimovic (see image above).
The Serbian newspaper Kurir claims that Carola will appear on the new album from popular Serbian-Bosnian group Regina (not yet confirmed).
It sounds like Carola's visit to Montenegro was a huge success!

Summer tour begins tonight |

Carola's Summer tour through Sweden begins tonight in Motala, as a part of Vätternfestivalen. According to a story in tabloid newspaper Aftonbladet, Carola has said this might be her last big tour. True or not? I don't know...

Carola in Montenegro |
Yesterday Carola performed at the Music Festival Budva '06 in Montenegro (I hope I can share some photos eventually). She performed these songs: "Through the Storm" ("Genom allt"), "Invincible" ("Evighet"), "I'll Never Walk Without You" ("När löven faller"), and "Stanna eller gå".

Carola is on the cover of the current issue of the Norwegian magazine "Kamille". In the article Carola talks about being a single mother, her boyfriend Edward John, and future plans which includes a book with beauty tips ("Beauty On The Inside And The Outside"), a school for artists, and PR in Europe to follow up her performance in the Eurovision Song Contest in May.

Book release: "Melodifestivalen genom tiderna" |

Carola is on the cover of the second edition of "Melodifestivalen genom tiderna", a book that tells the story of the Swedish Song Contest, and the European Song Contest from the beginning in the 1950's till today.
The previous edition had Charlotte Perelli ("Take Me To Your Heaven", 1999) on the cover.

Breaking News: Carola to perform at festival in Montenegro |
Carola is one of artists scheduled to perform at the Budva Music Festival in Montenegro on June 24.
The official website writes:
"This year the festival will be richer with the performance of Carola. Carola is one of the most popular artists in Sweden and she was one of the favortites in this year's Eurovision Song Contest."

Promo single: "Stanna eller gå" |

Universal Music has released "Stanna eller gå" as a promo single to radio stations in Sweden. When (and if) the single will be released commercially in stores is not yet announced.
The promo single's sleeve reads:
"Single no 2 from Carolas latest platinum selling, no 1 album 'Från nu till evighet', 'Stanna eller gå'" is a classic Carola uptempo hit with a killer chorus which will lead her Summer tour through Sweden. Expect a big show with all her hits when Sweden's biggest star goes on her biggest tour ever."

DVD release: Eurovision Song Contest 2006 |

Today the DVD "Eurovision Song Contest 2006" is released all over Europe. The DVD of course includes Carola's electric performance of "Invincible" in the ESC finale on May 20.

European Athletic Championship 2006 |
Already on April 4, we mentioned that Carola was rumored to perform at the opening of the European Athletic Championship 2006 in Gothenburg. Today these rumors were confirmed.
Scheduled to perform are Carola, Helena Paparizou, Sissel Kyrkjebø,
Peter Jöback, and Magnus Rosén from Swedish metal band Hammerfall. The event will be hosted by Jonathan Edwards and Kristin Kaspersen.
The sports channel Eurosport will broadcast the event live in 54 countries and a possible audience of 240 million people.

Breaking News: European releases: "Invincible" |
Universal Music has confirmed that "Invincible" will be released outside Scandinavia. The first countries that are ready for the single release are Holland and Belgium.
More countries are expected.

The opening of the Bislett Games in Oslo - updated |
Carola was scheduled to perform at the opening of the Bislett Games in Oslo, Norway tomorrow Friday June 2 together with among others the Eurovision Song Contest winners Lordi, but due to a strike at NRK in Norway both Lordi's and Carola's record labels cancelled their participation.
When Carola found out about the problems surrounding the Bislett Games, she still decided that she wanted to fullfill her engagement, so she WILL be performing at the opening tomorrow as scheduled.

Carola sang the Swedish national anthem "Du gamla du fria" as a part of the charity soccer game "Matchen" at Stockholms Stadion yesterday.
