Another song title revealed + Audio |
During the interview program "Malou möter Carola" last night, parts of a new song was aired: "Jag ger allt". Today we publish the song in our Audio section and parts of the lyrics.

A new song title revealed |

Last night media was invited to the recording studio to witness when Carola put her finishing touches on her upcoming album "Från nu till evighet, which will be released in Sweden on May 17. On the album she has co-written all the songs but one. Carola also reveals a new song title: "Vem kan älska mig", a ballad that she wrote herself.
Here is an excerpt from the lyrics:
Vem kan älska mig
(Music & Lyrics: Carola Häggkvist)
"Vem kan älska mig och se
Se mig som jag är
Kan älska nu och här
För den jag är och vem
Kan älska och förstå
När tiden börjat gå
Att allting måste ordna sig
Vem kan älska mig"

Don't miss "Malou möter Carola" tonight |

From TV4.se:
"The day before the Swedish Song Contest finale, Malou von Sivers met Carola Häggkvis, pumped up for her performance but with a sour throat. They had a long and open conversation about Carolas childhood growing up in a non-religious home, and how she became a Christian when the organization Credo came to her school, and how she always felt that she is "too much" for religious people, and to religious for those who aren't.
Carola also talks about when her parents both passed away within a short time, and about how lonely she felt after losing her two, strong parents who always were there for her through tough times.
Throughout the interview, Carola talks about her complicated relationship with the tabloids. How angry and sad she gets every time he gets misunderstood, and how she feels the responible editors should get prison when they misuse the printed word. It is obvious that the hate-love relationship she has had with the tabloids for 23 years now, has changed her as a person.
Carola describes her involvement in the Christian congregation Livets Ord, and says after being asked if she longs to return to them, that she still has many friends there and that the founder Ulf Ekman is her pastor for whom she has warm feelings for.
The second time Malou and Carola meet, she has won the Swedish Song Contest and has already visited Athens, which led yet again to tabloid headlines about Carola preaching at Acropolis. Carola openely discuss that incident. She also talks about her ex-husband Runar Söögard, her new love Edward John, and how being in the spotlight for 23 years has changed her as a person.
If Carola wins the European Song Contest she invisions that she has a mission. She speaks of herself as chosen, and thinks of her career as a way of spreading the gospel to people she meets.
The most intense sequence of the interview happens when Malou von Sivers asks Carola about her views on homosexuality."
