Carolina Norén (Swedish Radio SR) interviews Carola in regards of the upcoming Swedish Song Contest. In the interview Carola reveals that she was offered more songs for the Swedish Song Contest 2006. But it wasn't until she performed at the Eurovison Song Contest 50th Anniversary in Copenhagen in October 2005 that she felt a desire to participate in the contest again.

The Swedish gay magazine QX held its annual award show last night at Cirkus in Stockholm. Carola was awarded the "I Can't Believe My Eyes" Award for the flower-throwing incident during her performace of "Genom allt" at "Allsång på Skansen" last summer.
The girl who was hit by the flower, was present at the award ceremony last night to accept the award.
We know Carola has a good sense of humor, and is able to laugh about it all!

Universal Music reacts to Expressen article |
On carola.com, Universal Music reacts to the article published in Expressen today claiming that Carola demanded to perform last in the last semi finale of the Swedish Song Contest this year.
"Carola has made no demands whatsoever regarding the Swedish Song Contest. What city, and in what running order the artists perform is decided by SVT and the artist is then notified by them.
Carola is truly looking forward to participate in the Swedish Song Contest again!"

Running order announced: Carola no 8 |
The running order of the Swedish Song Contest 2006 has been finalised. Carola will be the last artist to go onstage in Scandinavium March 11, and the last song in the whole competition.

This Spring, Carola will invite her public to a "Gospel Station" day, where she will talk about, and answer questions about her faith.
"Many fans email me and ask me various guestions. This is a way for me to give a proper presentation for everyone who is interested.", Carola says. "I want to expand on what people experience on my concerts. This gives me a chance to talk about what Jesus means to me".
Where and when "Gospel Station" will take place is not yet finalised, but the plan is to have one session in the Spring and one in the Fall.
According to Aftonbladet, Carola will go on an extensive tour in Sweden this Summer.

On the chart over best selling albums in Sweden of 2005, Carolas "Störst av allt" ends up at no 32.
"Invincible" that Carola will perform in the Swedish Song Contest on March 11 has finally got its Swedish title: "Evighet" is the new title, and Carola has been involved in writing the lyrics.

New perfume: "Invincible" |
This spring, Carola Line will release its first perfume, named after Carola's 2006 Swedish Song Contest entry: "Invincible". Parts of the profits will go to charity through the Carola Care foundation.

According to reports from TT Spektra, Carolas new album will be released in April.
The album "Melodifestivalen 2006" which will include the Swedish version of "Invincible" will be released on March 17.
