JANUARY 29
Carola performs three songs in the intermission of the Belarus Song Contest in Minsk; "Invincible", "Never Walk Without You" ("När löven faller"), and "As Long As I Live" ("Så länge jag lever").

JANUARY 30
Carola receives the Litteris et Artibus medal from the Royal Highness the King of Sweden at a ceremony at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.

FEBRUARY 3
The concert tour starts at Aspens hallen in Haparanda. The tour has 10 concerts in six cities. Carola performs a new song "Starting All Over Again" written by Beatrice Eriksson, one of the back up singers on the tour.

FEBRUARY 17
Carola performs "Captured by a Lovestorm" ("Fångad av en stormvind") and "Invincible" during the intermission of the Spanish Song Contest Misión Eurovisión.

FEBRUARY 28
Tomas Andersson Wij releases his cover version of Carola's Swedish Song Contest winner "Evighet" on his greatest hits album "En introduktion till Tomas Andersson Wij". The song is also released as a single, stays four weeks on the Tracks chart and is included on numerous collection albums.

MARCH 10
Carola attends the Swedish Song Contest finale in the Globe Arena in Stockholm to hand out the award to the winners (The Ark) and to be interviewed. At the dress rehearsal in the afternoon, Carola performed "Evighet".

MARCH 23
Carola makes a surprise performance in Malmö, singing on a sports event where the city awarded their top athletes and sport clubs.

APRIL 26
Carola performs "If I Can Dream" and "Walk a Mile In My Shoes" with Elvis' legendary guitarist James Burton at the "Mississippi Celebrates a 50 Year Grammy Legacy" gala in Jackson Mississippi.

APRIL 28
Carola performs at the Norwegian church in New Orleans with Theresa Andersson and guitarist John Fohl.

MAY 11
Carola stops the "Holy Carola" design on t-shirts, bags, and speedos that were to be sold in junction with the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, Finland.

JUNE 7
Carola performs a private show for the Swedish government. The Swedish Prime minister Fredrik Reinfeldt is a big Carola fan, and he proudly introduced his favorite singer on stage. Apparently Carola gave Reinfeldt a kiss and according to the Swedish Foreign minister Carl Bildt's blog, they also performed together.

JUNE 30
Carola is a surprise guest artist at a concert with Theresa Andersson on Gotland.

JULY 14
Carola performs at the birthday of the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria. She sings "Så länge jag lever" mixed with last year's Swedish Song Contest winner "Evighet", and "Som en bro över mörka vatten" in a duet with Måns Zelmerlöw. As Carola walks down the stairs onstage, she trips on her high heels and falls down. But she immediately gets up, puts her shoe back on and continues the show... 1.5 million people watch the live TV show "Grattis Victoria".

JULY 23
Carola performs and speaks about her faith at the Europe Conference at Livets Ord in Uppsala. In front of 5,500 people she sings "Evighet", "Genom allt", "Never Walk Without You", "As Long As I'm Living", "Jag vill ge dig en blomma", "Not by Might", "How Great is Our Lord", and "People Need the Lord".

AUGUST 31
Carola makes a surprise appearance at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, handing over the envelope with the name of the winner.

SEPTEMBER 2
Carola meets with children at Barnsjukhusets dag (Child Hospital Day) at Liseberg in Gothenburg.

SEPTEMBER 22
Carola performs at the Pentecostal European Centennial at Oslo Spektrum. Carola sings several songs, and finishes with "To God Be the Glory".

OCTOBER 24
Andrea Bocelli's greatest hits album "The best of Andrea Bocelli - Vivere" is released. The album includes the duet with Carola "Because We Believe".

OCTOBER 25
Carola performs "Störst av allt" and "Amazing Grace" at the funeral of a 16-year old boy who died after being severely beaten up a few weeks earlier. The story became big news in Sweden and caused a lot of discussion about street violence and youth culture.

OCTOBER 26
The TV gameshow "Så ska det låta" is recorded. Carola teams up with Andreas Johnson in the episode that will air March 14 2008. Carola performs Randy Crawford's "You bring the sun out", U2's "Pride (In the Name of Love)", and her own songs "The Pearl" and "När löven faller".

NOVEMBER 10 - 11
Carola performs "Invincible", "Captured by a Lovestorm", "Autumn Leaf", "I Believe in Love" and a Christian song of praise at the City Harvest Church in Singapore.

NOVEMBER 12
The Christmas album "I denna natt blir världen ny - Jul i Betlehem II" is released in Norway. The album is a follow up to the hugely popular "Jul i Betlehem" album from 1999 and it quickly reaches gold status. The album peaks at no 12 on the Norwegian album chart.

Carola conducts a press conference in Kulturkirken Jakob in Oslo.

NOVEMBER 14
The Christmas album "I denna natt blir världen ny - Jul i Betlehem II" is released in Sweden. The album quickly reaches platinum status and tops the Swedish album charts for three weeks.

Carola signs the album at Åhléns City in Stockholm.

Mathias Holmgren's album "Lejonhjärta" is released. The album includes the song "Hör min röst" that Mathias co-wrote with Carola.

NOVEMBER 15
Carola records the TV-show "Babben & Co". She sings"I denna natt blir världen ny" and is put in the "hot seat" where she is supposed to keep a straight face while five comedians are doing their best to make her laugh. Other guests are singer Eva Dahlgren and actor Kjell Bergqvist.

NOVEMBER 16
Carola is a guest judge on the Swedish "Idol". During the week she has coached the remaining contestants and in the show she performs "Go Tell It On the Mountain" from her new album together with the "idols". 1.3 million people watch the live TV-show on TV4.

NOVEMBER 19
The Christmas album "I denna natt blir världen ny - Jul i Betlehem II" is released in Denmark.

NOVEMBER 21
The Christmas album "I denna natt blir världen ny - Jul i Betlehem II" is released in Finland.

NOVEMBER 21-23
Carola performs four Christmas concerts in Kulturkirken Jakob in Oslo. One is recorded and later aired on Norwegian TV2 and Swedish TV3.

NOVEMBER 22
Carola performs "I denna natt blir världen ny" and "Her kommer dine arme små" on "God Morgen Norge" on Norwegian TV2.

NOVEMBER 27
The Scandinavian Christmas tour starts in Pedersöre Kyrka in Jakobstad, Finland with two sold-out concerts. The tour has two concerts in Finland, six concerts in Sweden, one in Denmark, two on Iceland and two in Norway.

DECEMBER 1
SVT1 airs "Babben & Co" that was recorded on November 15.

DECEMBER 3
Swedish TV4 airs "Carolas resa mot jul" a documentary from the recordings of the album "I denna natt blir världen ny" in Bethlehem.

DECEMBER 4
Carola appears on "Go' Morgen Danmark" on Danish TV2.

DECEMBER 7-12
Carola, Liza Minnelli, Jan Malmsjö, and Michael Nyqvist performs together in the show "A Classic Christmas Night" with two shows at Hovet in Stockholm (December 7-8) and two shows at Scandinavium in Gothenburg (December 11-12). Carola performs "Mitt i ett äventyr", "Evighet", "Pride (In the Name of Love)", and "Stilla natt / Silent Night" in a duet with Liza Minnelli. The tour gets a lot of attention, even internationally, when Liza Minnelli collaps on stage on the last show.

DECEMBER 9

Norwegian TV2 airs "Carolas Betlehem" a documentary from the recordings of the album "I denna natt blir världen ny" in Bethlehem.

DECEMBER 15
Carola appears on "Nyhetsmorgon" on Swedish TV4 and performs "I denna natt blir världen ny" and "Go Tell it On the Mountain".

DECEMBER 16
Norwegian TV2 airs "Carolas førjulskonsert" - the concert from Kulturkirken Jakob in Oslo (rerun on December 22).

DECEMBER 19
Swedish TV3 airs "Carola: Jul i Betlehem" - the concert from Kulturkirken Jakob in Oslo (rerun on December 25).

DECEMBER 30
Carola performs "Mitt i ett äventyr" in Swedish TV4's charity show "Våra eldsjälar". Other artists include Pet Shop Boys, Jill Johnson, Jonas Gardell and E.M.D.
