FEBRUARY 14
The album "Sov På Min Arm" is released in Sweden and Norway.

FEBRUARY 21
"Sov På Min Arm" enters at no 2 on the Swedish albums chart. It stays on the no 1 spot for two weeks (Feb 28 & March 7), and on top 10 for seven weeks. All together 22 weeks on the charts.

FEBRUARY 24
Carola co-hosts the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix.

FEBRUARY 25
Swedish TV4 airs the documentary "Carola i Sydafrika" ("Carola in South Africa").

FEBRUARY 28
"Sov På Min Arm" enters at no 23 on the Norwegian album chart. It peaks at no. 18 (March 7) and stays on the charts for 3 weeks.

MAY 7
Carola revievs the Ulla Billquist Award. Carola performed at the ceremony which was held at Nalen in Stockholm. The jury dedicates the award with the following: "Carola has during two decennia mesmerized the people of Sweden with her beautiful voice and brilliant charisma".

MAY 14
Carola sings "That's What Friends Are For" at the Polar Music Prize ceremony at the Berwald Concert Hall in Stockholm.
One of the recipients is Burt Bacharach, who during his stay in Stockholm also started the production of "Someday" for Carola's upcoming album.

JUNE 19
Carola premieres "The Pearl" from her upcoming album at a concert to honor the Swedish Royal Couple's 25th wedding anniversary.

JULY 4
The movie "Livet Är En Schlager" is released on VHS / DVD in Sweden. It reaches no 1 at the Swedish video rentals chart.

AUGUST 9
The album "Sov På Min Arm" re-enters the Swedish album chart at no 41, and adds 6 more weeks for the album at the chart.

SEPTEMBER 28
Carola is one of the guest in the season premiere of "Sen Kväll Med Luuk" on Swedish TV4.

OCTOBER 20
Carola premieres "THE LIGHT" which is the first single off her new album "MY SHOW" in Swedish gameshow Bingolotto's 10th anniversary show, Liseberg, Gothenburg. The show is aired live in Swedish TV4.
More than 2.2 million people tune in.

OCTOBER 22
The single "The Light" is released to radio stations.
The single is not released commercially.

NOVEMBER 2
The new official website Carola.com is launched.

NOVEMBER 9
The Toner För Miljoner tour opens in Gothenburg.

NOVEMBER 19
The album "My Show" (the first on new label Universal) is released in Sweden and Norway. It sells 55.000 copies in Sweden within the first week.

NOVEMBER 24
Performs the last of eleven concerts on the Toner För Miljoner tour.
Swedish TV4 records the show in Globen, Stockholm.
Carola recievs a gold record for "My Show".

NOVEMBER 30
"My Show" enters at no 6 on the Swedish album chart.

DECEMBER 1
Carola performs "My Show" and "I'm Coming Home" in Bingolotto at Swedish TV4.

DECEMBER 9
Swedish radio SR/P4 airs an hour long interview with Carola.

DECEMBER 11
Performs at the charity event "En Sång För De Hemlösa" (A Song For The Homeless) in Jacob's Church, Stockholm. Swedish TV3 records the concert.

DECEMBER 14
TV4 airs the Toner För Miljoner concert.
The nominees for the Rockbjörnen Award are announced. Carola is nominated for the Best Swedish Female Singer Award.

DECEMBER 23
TV3 airs the En Sång För De Hemlösa Concert.

DECEMBER 24
TV4 airs Carola's performance of "STILLA NATT" (Silent Night)

DECEMBER 25
TV3 re-runs the En Sång För De Hemlösa Concert.
