JANUARY 4 - 5
Carola performs two concerts in Bethlehem, Israel.

JANUARY 30
"Jul I Betlehem" is awarded as the biggest selling album in Sweden in 1999.

FEBRUARY 20
Carola performs at the re-opening of the church of Jacob in Norway.

MARCH 10
The Swedish Song Contest.
Carola co-hosts, presenting one of the competing songs. All ten celebrity hosts performs a medley of songs from Eurovision song contests. This performance later wins the Expressen TV Guide Award.

MARCH 31
The album "World Wide Wells" is released. The album contains a live recording of Carola performing "All By Myself" on last year's Rhapsody In Rock concerts.

APRIL 15
Carola recieves the Lisebergsapplåden Award at Liseberg, Gothenburg.

MAY 12
The album "School Days" with old hits from the label Mariann Records is released.
Carola has re-recorded "Främling" and "Mickey" (which is also released a promotion single) for the album.

JUNE 7
Carola confirms the rumors of a collaboration with Sweet Chariot on her upcoming album.

JUNE 9
The tour "A Musical Night" with Carola and Tommy Körberg, start at the Royal Hampton Court Palace in London. The remaining four concerts are all in Sweden.

JULY 5
Carola performs two new songs with Sweet Chariot in Tylösand.

AUGUST 1
Carola joins the Rhapsody In Rock tour in Finland, since she had to cancel the finnish dates on the tour last year. 2 concerts.

NOVEMBER 8
The soundtrack album "Livet Är En Schlager" is released.
Carola performs "If Life Was a Song".

NOVEMBER 10
The movie "Livet Är En Schlager", in which Carola makes a small appearance, opens in theatres. The movie is directed by Danish Susanne Bier by a script by Swedish Jonas Gardell. The cast: Helena Bergström, Thomas Hanzon, Björn Kjellman and Jonas Karlsson.
No 1 at the box office. It becomes the third most grossing Swedish movie released in 2000.

NOVEMBER 16
Swedish tv channel SVT2 airs "En Helg För Världens Barn" (A Weekend For The Children of the World). Carola performs "In The Ghetto".

NOVEMBER 30
"Jul I Betlehem" reenters the Swedish album charts at no. 56. It peaks at no. 13 (Dec 21) and stays 6 weeks on the chart, which gives it a total of 14 weeks on the chart.

DECEMBER 1
Carola co-hosts the season finale of "Sikta Mot Stjärnorna" (Aim At the Stars) in Swedish TV4.

DECEMBER 5
The Scandinavian tour "White Christmas", a Christmas Concert with Carola, Tommy Körberg, Anders Eljas & his Rockin’ Reindeers etc, starts at Spektrum in Norway. 7 concerts.
